"We acquired the Buxton Antiques Fair from Cultural Exhibitions in 2002 and at this year's five-day fair we have 55 dealers and nine new exhibitors," said organiser Mike Sylvester of Trident Exhibitions.
The new exhibitors include Hartley Fine Art with 18th-20th century oils and watercolours; period furniture dealers include Manor Farm Barn Antiques and Stablegate Antiques, with Anderson Jones Ltd and Jean Bateman bringing fine antique jewellery and Alan Finney Antiques offering 18th and 19th century English porcelain.
"Our £6 entry fee reflects the prestigious quality of the fair, the exhibitors and their wares and the venue itself," added Mr Sylvester, who is offering a two-for-one ticket deal for visitors who register before the fair online at www.tridentexhibitions.co.uk.
The Buxton Antiques Fair runs from Wednesday to Sunday, May 16-20, at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, Derbyshire.
