Set in 315 acres, it was the location earlier this month for Cooper Antique Fairs’ first three-day fair there on Friday to Sunday, June 4-7.

Said organiser Sue Ede: “My husband Peter and I went to a function at the school earlier in the year and thought it was such a perfect venue for an antiques fair, both for exhibitors and the public. Everyone at the fair was overwhelmed by the facilities. We had 37 exhibitors and 42 stands and some exhibitors did well, and some exceptionally well, and those who maybe did not make such good sales could see the huge potential of this fair.

“We’ll go slowly at first and establish the fair for the public and we’ll probably hold one again next year.”
