Around 20 salerooms due to hold auctions between now and the end of the month are in or close to deluged towns, and some have had to pump out water from their premises and ship in sandbags. But when ATG contacted them on Monday (July 23) to check, all said that they intended to go ahead with their sales, as planned.
They also said that they would let us know if those plans changed – and we will update this page with news of anyone affected who contacts us.
It is still worth checking with any saleroom before travelling there as a number, though not flooded themselves, say nearby roads have been cut off by the rising water.

DESPITE the odd flooded cellar and car park, ATG are not aware of a single UK auctioneer in affected areas who will not be going ahead with their sales in the coming week.
