Auctioneers, dealers and other trade professionals fought their way through a torrential downpour in London’s West End before putting together 26 teams for one of the most keenly contested events of the year – hosted by ATG.

New teams this year included Sworders, The Silver Vaults and The Fine Art Golf Society.

The questions were as challenging as ever, with several teams vying for the lead at half time.

In the end, however, it was Christie’s King Street who broke Bloomsbury’s two-year stint as champions, followed in joint second place by Dreweatt Neate – their third second place in four years – and Baldwins.

Sworders won the prize for best team mascot, a highly individual model of their new-look eco-friendly Stansted Mountfitchet salerooms.

The evening was topped off by a charity collection that raised £1600 for Children In Need.
