With sales of €100.5m (£67.7m), up 29 per cent, ArtCurial consolidated second place and opened up a sizeable gap with Tajan, who stayed third on €72.5m (£48.8m), up just five per cent. After two lacklustre years, Sotheby’s closed the gap on Tajan with a rise of 43 per cent to €62.6m (£42.2m).
