Joe Simon-Whelan calls his Warhol self portrait ‘Double Denied’ after it was twice turned down by the Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board.
Historical Design were delighted and 30 vintage chairs were delivered and set up as if on a fashion catwalk. All 17 windows on Fifth Avenue were used and the result was both chic and dramatic. Denis Gallion of Historical Design says it was a lot of paperwork with insurance etc. but added "Needless to say, we were pleased to have the exposure."
