The small but select fair, hopefully an annual event, showcases eight dealers who all know each other well. The project is headed by Gordon Foster and Fiona MacSporran, who deal in Perthshire as Decorative Arts @ Doune, and Edinburgh furniture dealer John Dixon of Georgian Antiques.
They are joined by silver dealers Nicholas Shaw from Petworth and John Bourdon-Smith from London; picture dealers Neil McRae from Perthshire and Campbell Wilson from Sussex; Ian Burton from Perthshire with jewellery and Goodwins of Edinburgh with jewellery.
Gordon Foster told ATG the problem of launching an Edinburgh fair has been finding a venue but John Dixon is a member of the Edinburgh Merchants so the prestigious Hall became a viable and ideal location in the heart of the city.
