Regular sales in the Oxfordshire town, a tradition of more than 25 years under Simmons and Son, will now be conducted by Jones and Jacob from The Watcombe Manor Saleroom.
Under the direction of Simon Jones who worked for 13 years at Simmons and Sons in Henley and was their head of department, they aim to provide a calendar of both antique and Victoriana sales every six weeks. Jake Wilde, a recent graduate of the Southampton Institute with several years’ experience in the valuation of silver and Oriental antiques, provides the ‘Jacob’ in the company’s name.
