The day will commence with a service at The Parish of Streat and Westmeston Church, Streat Lane, Streat, Sussex at 10.45am. This will be followed by an afternoon at Plumpton Racecourse where the 3.20 will be named The Barry Davies Memorial Handicap Steeplechase.
Tickets for lunch can be applied for through Moppy Peate on 01273 890383. The family’s chosen charity, to which donations can be made, is the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital where Mr Davies died. Donations should given to Catherine Murray (020 7408 0207) on the day of the memorial service.
