Sir John Mills furniture comes to auction

Sir John, a double Oscar winner, has recently moved from the family home in Denham, near Gerrards Cross, to a smaller property in the village and the move has prompted him to consign for sale three of his favourite pieces of furniture.

They include this Regency rosewood centre table set with a black and gold lacquered top decorated in the Chinese taste, as used by Sir John as a cocktail table when entertaining several of his celebrity guests at Hills House. It is estimated to bring £4000-£6000.
