Established for over three decades, and specialising in period furniture, Reindeer are turning much of their 17th century premises at Potterspury, near Towcester and just a 10-minute drive from central Milton Keynes, into a fully serviced, professional centre with individual showrooms and cabinets.

The buildings, once owned by the Northampton Brewery Phipps, became Reindeer Antiques in the 1940s and was bought by the present owner John Butterworth in 1976.

Mr Butterworth will certainly keep his own Reindeer showrooms on the site but will allow some 12,000 square feet to be architecturally designed into seven large showrooms, display areas and 37 cabinets. Reindeer have always been good at marketing and promise to bring this experience into full play with the new centre.

“Opportunities such as this rarely present themselves and we hope to create tremendous interest and excitement with the potential for increased profitability and security to those that participate” said Mr Butterworth.

Expect the new centre to be approaching completion by November.
