A stolen NatWest cheque book bearing the title For and On Behalf of Suffolk Holdings Ltd has been used to purchase numerous antique items.
Offences have so far been discovered in Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Suffolk and Essex, Brussels and France.
Investigating officers believe that further offences may have been committed and are asking any member of the trade who thinks they have fallen victim to the fraud to contact them.

Police call for new leads in cheque fraud case
AVON and Somerset Police are currently investigating a series of cheque deceptions committed against antique shops and dealers throughout the UK and Europe over the last two years.
