Some 50 exhibitors from all around the country will take their places in the grand Queen’s Room and the emphasis, Cliff says, is not just on quality but on things you can buy to use.
While there is a practical air to the antiques, there is a touch of summer fantasy to the fair itself – such seasonal refreshments as Pimms and strawberries and cream will be served and, out in the terrace garden, a band will play.
Entrance is just £2.50 with half the proceeds going directly to the Star & Garter Home.
