Paola Francia-Gardiner of P&A tells me she is offering reasonably priced spaces for a one-day decorative event.

The so-called brocante market has always looked a potentially busy one, but finding the right balance is not as easy as it may appear to outsiders.

More than one organiser has eyed the notion of such fairs in London in the past with mixed results.

For two years, Paola, who is a market-responsive organiser, held the Original Brocante at the venue but with fitted stands she felt that proved too expensive for many exhibitors.

Early entry at 8.30am costs £6 with £2.50 admission after 10am.
