Mr Gent makes his organising debut at this weekend’s London Ceramics Fair at the Lancaster Gate Thistle Hotel on the Bayswater Road on June 12 and 13. Fred Hynds remains as a consultant for the rest of the year.
Expect more than 20 exhibitors, among them Nick Gent himself, who has been showing at this fair for many years. His speciality is Derby porcelain and Pinxton china, subjects on which he is a published expert.
Prestige plan two ceramics fairs a year in London in June and January, and two a year at Chatsworth, Derbyshire, in October and March.

DERBYSHIRE dealer Nick Gent has taken over the London Ceramics Fair from Fred Hynds of Wakefield Ceramics Fairs and formed Prestige Ceramic Fairs to stage specialist events.
