One of the National Trust’s most visited properties Tatton Park has a very good track record for business, even in lean times, and Mr Bailey had no trouble attracting a full house of some 40 exhibitors, quite a few of whom have been with the event for more than a decade.
These include local dealers Baron Fine Art and two Derbyshire firms who both specialise in Victorian furniture, G&J Claessens and A&A Needham.
Period furniture seems particularly well represented and, in contrast, there will be plenty of interest in the stock of Pure Imagination from Newcastle, whose forte is Scandinavian furniture and decorative arts, period and modern.
Sussex silver specialist Nicholas Shaw, who usually enjoys very good sales at Tatton, will also be on parade.
Admission is £5.
