In arriving at their decision, the Board recognized the antiques centre’s friendly staff, a wide and varied range of shopping opportunities available and additional facilities including a tearoom and a public picnic area.
Rait Antiques Centre is one of Scotland’s longest-established, founded 20 years ago. The group of Georgian farmsteads, situated on the A90 midway between Perth and Dundee, now houses the stock of 14 dealers.
Tourist award for Rait centre
The Scottish Tourist Board has given Rait Antiques Centre a much-coveted three-star Tourist Shop Award under the Board’s Visitor Attraction Grading Scheme.
