A London Stereoscopic Co. walnut pedestal stereoscope with hinged top section, adjustable eyepieces and hand cranking device that revolves a drum holding 28 stereographs, lacked a frosted panel, but it sold at £750.

A set of Step’s Favourite Flowers of Garden and Greenhouse, the four vols. of 1896-97 illustrated with 316 chromolitho plates and here in library bindings, made £640.

The Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm, a copy of the 1909, Rackham illustrated edition, a little stained around the foredge of the red cloth gilt binding, but otherwise fine, sold at £540.

A bound volume of some 150 issues of The Times from the first six months of 1843, made £240.

A page bearing the signatures of John Lennon and George Harrison, plus a later and “apparently forged” signature of Ringo Starr, was sold at £520.
