The move, made possible by the availability of a restored factory building – the Neckarhof – much damaged in the Second World War, has enabled Nagel to develop a hi-tech space of more than 5000 square metres that will allow them to run exhibitions and auctions alongside each other.

Their relocation to Neckarstrasse from Adlerstrasse places them more centrally, with better parking facilities with which to build on their current average of about 18 sales a year.

Nagel’s most celebrated success of recent years was the disposal of the vast Tek Sing cargo, whose 350,000 items were 100 per cent sold. Whilst the firm have specialised in traditional fields such as European furniture over a long period, they have branched out into Modern art and online bidding in more recent years.
Because of the move, it will not be possible to contact the experts or departments between 6pm on July 11 and 6pm on July 13.

The firm’s new address
is Nagel Auktionen, Neckarstrasse 189-191, D-70190 Stuttgart, Germany. Tel: +49 711 649 690 Fax: +49 711 649 69696.
