During a recent valuation day conducted by Biddle and Webb, a local builder by the name of Richard Cotrill brought in a number of Beatles singles, which he had kept in his mother’s cupboard for many years. Toy specialist Tristan Pritchard was more than surprised to see four signatures on this copy of All My Loving (1963). At the Ladywood Middleway salerooms on September 19 it is expected to make over £1000.

Given that they were sold in such massive quantities, Beatles singles remain relatively common and few command more than £10-20 each – unless of course they have a more personal connection with the Fab Four.
