One group of Elinor Brent-Dyer's 'Chalet School' titles, currently in huge demand, sold at £880 - the only named book was The New Mistress... (1957) - while a lot including The Exploits of the Chalet Girls of 1961 and ten other reprints, a lot valued at just £20-40, brought £350. The children's book section also saw a bid of £200 for a 1932 first of Peter Duck, written and illustrated by Arthur Ransome.

An 1834 first of Lieutenant Alexander Burnes' Travels into Bokhara..., the three vols. bound in full calf, made £440.
