His appointment allows David and LeeAnn Lester, founders of IFAE, to reduce their future involvement in the business to concentrate on building The Fall Fair for International Fine & Decorative Arts.
Mr Rudolf will concentrate on developing the IFAE port-folio of events, which include
artpalmbeach, Palm Beach International Art & Antique Fair, ARTForm and The Fall Fair for International Fine & Decorative Arts in New York.
Mark Carr, executive vice president, Arts & Antiques, dmg world media, praised Mr Rudolf’s great skill in developing relationships with key collectors internationally, and raising their consciousness of the fairs in which he has been involved.
“He has combined this with a strong focus on increasing and maintaining high dealer quality level at fairs. Lorenzo will bring this approach to IFAE.”
IFAE has also announced the cancellation of the April 3-9 Texas International Fine Art Fair in Houston, citing the management changes and an already full programme of fairs.
