Organised and owned by West Sussex-based Caroline Penman, it is one where the 43 exhibitors generally find a receptive audience for a largely traditional menu of antiques and fine art although modern items are also making their presence felt – as at almost every other fair – and we are promised a good showing of Art Deco.

But it is the 18th and 19th centuries which will be to the fore, a stock which suits the local buyers and the London and local trade. Exhibitors include familiar names from the quality fair circuit such as Sue Killinger, Cynthia Walmsley, Hickmet Fine Art, Wilson’s of Worthing and Mark Newsum.

As at all Penman events vetting for quality and authenticity is strict but fair. Admission is £3.
