With a distinctive range of engravings covering gardens, architectural designs and scientific objects, all in hand-made frames, the work looks highly effective in the most modern of settings.

So important has the interior design aspect of her business become that Ingrid has joined forces with a band of like-minded professionals in Kent and Sussex to form Bellfield Interiors, an informal grouping of 15 companies.

To bring a flavour of Bellfield Interiors to the public, a one-day exhibition will be held on February 1 in the Evian Suite of the Hotel du Vin in central Tunbridge Wells, where anyone can talk to the professionals about an interior adjustment or a complete makeover.

The services on hand will range from bespoke framing, garden design and hardwood flooring to wrought-iron curtain poles, antiques sourcing and, of course, decorative prints.

• Kent dealer Ingrid Nilson, part of Bellfield Interiors, has just issued a catalogue of her current stock of decorative prints. A sample taken from the brochure is this set of three late 17th century German copper plate engravings of gardens by Diesel, c.1695, which costs £975 the set.
