Around 100 dealers exhibit at this well-run and well-rated fair organised by New York-based Stella Show Management.
It dovetails nicely with the grander uptown fair and if you want to see for yourself, Stella provides a complimentary shuttle van running all day between the two armories.
Always a popular show with the trade and decorators, this is an event of variety with a deal of quality and this year has attracted a strong English contingent joining the many British dealers who see the place to do business as Manhattan.
Joining the show are the extremely busy Oxfordshire firm of Hallidays (fresh from the LAPADA fair and then on to the TVADA fair); London’s Mano Vayis with small decorative pieces; Dinan & Chighine from Surrey with botanical prints; Oonagh Black from Gloucestershire with a mixed stock and London picture gallery Gladwell.

English trade make for Manhattan
THE Haughtons’ International is not the only fair in town in mid-October and very well worth a visit is the Gramercy Park Antiques Show from October 18 to 20 at the downtown 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue at 26th Street.
