This is the venue of the venerable Paris Biennale, which will be held next September, but this new event is a very different affair. Some 40 art galleries, booksellers and dealers from Europe and the United States will participate in a selling exhibition and we are promised work by some of the great design names of the 20th century.
An added attraction is an exhibition of
25 masters of international design from 25 different countries, chosen by the Parisian ambassadors of their respective nations.
The show is put together by Paris promoter Rik Gadella, who is well known for organising photography events. More on this show nearer the opening.

FRANCE: FROM June 6 to 9 the inaugural Le Salon du XXeme Siecle (20th Century Design Show) will be launched at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
