Sean Mcilroy, Bonhams regional director in East Anglia, said Baron
Bentinck, the owner of Moyns Park, had issued instructions to Bonhams
cancelling the auction which was due to have taken place on 8 and 9 July.
The move came after the house and its contents were purchased prior to
auction.

Bonhams Auctioneers announced today that the contents of Moyns Park, an Elizabethan manor house in Birdbrook, on the Essex-Suffolk border near Haverhill, had been sold prior to auction.
