The ceremony in Wolverhampton attracted more than 350 local businesses from the region covering Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall and Stourbridge.

Sponsored by The Birmingham Post and the chamber as well as Black Country Business Link, the event was held to award new businesses in the area who had shown the best in professionalism, organisational and innovative skills.

Fieldings, who told the Antiques Trade Gazette they were already nine months ahead of their original business plan, were awarded the trophy and a large accompanying cheque for the Best New Business in the Service Sector.

Director Nicholas Davies said: “It is a real feather in our cap, it makes all the hard work and late nights at the office worthwhile when you get recognition like this.”
