The show celebrates the centenary of the artist, who was born in the Potteries in 1902 and whose inspiration had such a profound effect on changing fashions and styles in the past century.

After running her own company for 36 years it was taken over by Wedgwood in 1966 and the exhibition features not only her familiar creations but also pattern books, drawings and trials. Many pieces on show are from Susie Cooper’s own collection produced for her own use and include rugs and painted panels.
