Shown right, top is a pair of 71/4in (17.5cm) high Chinese Export porcelain candlesticks of c.1740-60, modelled on silver originals and decorated in a very colourful palette with floral sprays and assorted decorative bands. They sold for $12,000 (£8275). Illustrated right, bottom is a 25in (64cm) high Tiffany Favrile glass and patinated bronze Lemon Leaf table lamp – the glass work predominantly in shades of green, which, as the last lot in the catalogue, brought the day’s top bid of $16,500 (£11,380).
