Two MPs, Derek Wyatt and Desmond Swayne, have objected to the Bill as it proceeds towards its Third Reading.
Campaigners against the Bill noted that pressure on parliamentary time is increasing as several pieces of legislation vie for MPs’ attention, and the Kent Bill may suffer as a result.
