A 20th century oak dresser of three central drawers, two small cupboards and four spice drawers between a plate rack and a pot shelf, 5ft 6in (1.68m) wide, attracted £1500; a Black Forest hall stand carved as a growling bear holding a tree topped by a bear cub took £1400; a William IV rosewood circular tilt-top dining table with a triform base and claw feet, 4ft 6in (1.37m) diameter, made £1350 and a George III mahogany night commode of typical composition, 2ft (61cm) wide, sold at £1300.
