Eric Knowles

Ceramics specialist Eric Knowles joined Bonhams as a porter in 1976 and became head of the ceramics department by 1981. A regular on antiques television programmes such as BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, he spent more than 30 years at Bonhams before becoming an independent valuer in 2009.
