The imminent arrival of Crossrail services in London are threatening the character of the Hatton Garden jewellery quarter.

Eight men have been charged in connection with the Hatton Garden heist following 12 coordinated raids across London and Kent by officers from Scotland Yard’s Flying Squad.

POLICE in Scotland are investigating the theft of valuable jewellery after a sales representative from a London dealership was set upon by four men in an Oxfam bookshop in Perth.

A gang of thieves are targeting dealers in Hatton Garden, using diversionary tactics to grab briefcases and bags.
