Paul Viney is made Master of the Worshipful Company of Art Scholars.
The installation took place last month at Stationers Hall in the City of London – an appropriate choice as Lawrence Viney, Viney’s father, was Master of the Stationers Company.
“I’m honoured and delighted to be Master,” Viney told ATG, “though Loyd will be a hard act to follow.”

The Art Scholars is one of more than 100 Livery Companies of the City of London and the youngest with livery status. “Fifteen years ago, we were just an idea,” Viney said. “It’s astonishing how far we’ve come in that time.”
