Eight hot lots of art, silver and furniture at Bonhams upcoming interiors sale
21 March 2022 Among the 700 lots at Bonhams sale later this month is a wide array of silver, furniture and art.
A c.1860 specimen wood and parquetry occasional table by William Haddlesay (b.1826), inlaid with numerous assorted woods including amboyna, rosewood, birds' eye maple, purpleheart, walnut, calamander, mahogany and sycamore with two printed paper labels. It is estimated at £1400-2000.

A cased set of four Edwardian novelty silver owl card or menu holders marked for Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1906 estimated at £300-500.
This study of a tiger by British artist Archibald Thorburn (1860-1935) was previously sold by the dealer Tryon Gallery. It is estimated at £1000-1500.
This 19th century American silver vase has a date code for 1881 and is by Gorham, a manufacturer in Providence, Rhode Island. It is stamped STERLING and estimated at £2000-3000.
An early 20th century Black Forest stained wood and bronzed metal dog kennel novelty tobacco/cigarette box estimated at £500-700.
A late 17th/early 18th century needlework casket decorated in coloured silks with geometric chequered and formalised foliate panels. It is estimated at £300-4000.
A William IV silver-gilt table snuff box made by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1832. The inside cover has a presentation inscription 'Presented to Capt James Murray by the officers & NCOs of the Trafford Volunteers June 1845'. It is estimated at £300-400.
This Charles I West Country silver seal top spoon was made by Richard Osborn II and marked for Exeter c.1635. It is estimated at £600-800.
