She adds: “Having said that, Malvern is the phenomenon that offers fresh to the market stock from around the UK. We welcome our retro friends to the fair with in-vogue furniture and now that we no longer have our fair in Edinburgh we’re seeing a few of our Scottish friends coming down to do the circuit including our flea fair.”
As older generations of dealers retire it is heartening to see new faces at fairs and markets and Yourston echoes this, saying “some new people came to buy and are now selling with us”.
The next Malvern Flea Fair at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire runs on Sunday, January 21.
