Recently discovered in Touraine, it will be sold as three lots in the February 24 sale of 20th century decorative art and design in Blois: a set of chairs, sideboard and a table.

The fresh-to-market ensemble was formerly in the collection of the director of the company Société NMPP.

The set of eight chairs in rosewood veneer are examples of Chareau’s MF275 model created in 1924 that featured on the designer’s stand at the Salon d’Automne two years later and was chosen by famous Chareau clients such as the Comte and Comtesse de Noailles and Jean Dalsace. It has an estimate of €7000-10,000.

The extending dining table, model MA788, measuring 4ft 7in (1.4m) and set on a double arch base, dates from c.1925 and is guided at €2000-3000.

The sideboard, which dates from the same period and is estimated at €4000-5000, is a variant of model MA788. This has three doors opening to reveal a central space made up of drawers flanked by shelves, features an extra hanging side shelf and measures 3ft (92cm) in height and 7ft 2in (2.2m) in width.
