On September 28 in Stowmarket as part of its sale of the Diana Steel collection, Bishop & Miller (25/12% buyer’s premium) offered this walnut and marquetry cased clock fitted with an eight day, two train five pillar striking movement.
Steel, the founder of the Antique Collectors Club who died last year, bought it relatively recently for a five-figure sum.
