This Art Deco wrought iron and wood see-saw is thought to have been made in England in the 1920s or 30s. Leamington Spa firm River Spa Vintage, which offers the piece for £1300, consulted several experts including the V&A Museum of Childhood about the item.
None knew of a similar example, suggesting it could be a one-off. Traces of the original green paint are visible, and it shows its age with a “fantastic” patination.
