Winter Olympia winners announced

The 23rd Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair opened at Olympia in West London last week and as usual trade associations the BADA and LAPADA presented their respective best stand awards to exhibiting members.

The judges for both awards were Angela Linforth, editor of Homes & Antiques, David Asher of Country Life and Mary Narvel from the Art & Antiques Group of Chelsea Women's Club.

The 2013 winners were as follows:

• Best Stand

BADA - Holly Johnson Antiques, Cheshire (20th century design)

LAPADA - De Eenhoorn, The Netherlands (Gothic and Renaissance works of art)

 

•  Best Display of Pictures or Textiles

BADA - Gray Modern & Contemporary Art, Somerset (20th century art)

LAPADA - Willow Gallery, London (19th and 20th century paintings)

 

• Best Use of Display Cabinets

BADA - Laura Bordignon, Essex (Japanese art)

LAPADA - Hampton Antiques, Northampton (antique boxes)
