Antiques centre theft at Burford

Antiques traders in the Oxfordshire area are being urged to be on their guard after a theft at Burford Antiques Centre.

On Monday, January 7, a man and a woman entered the centre in Cheltenham Road and stole an Art Deco perfume bottle, before making off in a white left-hand drive estate car with the registration LPU 30379. They are described as appearing to be of Asian origin.

The theft happened just after 1pm.

Anyone with information should call PC Lisa Berry at Witney police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101 (crime reference JG4184709/13).
