28 February 2013Written by ATG Reporter

The original conveyance deeds to Aintree Grand National Racecourse, which date back to 1838, are to go under the hammer at Cato Crane in Liverpool on March 6.

Charred on its leather binding due to a bomb which hit the Liverpool solicitors in which it was kept during the Second World War, the document lists the names of 40 original shareholders.

Estimate £7000-10,000.
