A large array of hunting items is to be included at Mitchells of Cockermouth’s sporting sale on October 13.
Pictured here are
items belonging to the late Bruce Logan, a long-serving master of
Consiton Foxhounds, including his scarlet huntsman's waistcoat with
six silver fox head buttons tailored by Strachan & Co (estimate
at £100-£150).
Items from the
Lowther Estate include a Hardy tripod shooting stick crested for
the Earl of Lonsdale estimated at £80-120.
