The franchise agreement under which Bloomsbury Auctions Italia has operated in Rome since September 2011 has ceased.
The Italian company will now trade as
Minerva Auctions and is no longer related in any way to Bloomsbury
Auctions in London.

chairman Stephan Ludwig told clients that Bloomsbury Auctions &
Dreweatts would continue to operate in the Italian market,
beginning with a three-day valuation event at the Hotel Parco dei
Principi in Rome from November 23 to 26.
