Printed in German, this Judaica booklet relates to the siege of Prague by the Prussians led by Frederick the Great in 1757.
The title translates as Description/Order
of the Thanksgiving Prayers performed by Prague Jewry in the Alte
Nue (Old New) Synagogue on the departure of the Enemy 27th June
1757.
Four copies are known to be in libraries
(one in the National Library of Israel and three in American
libraries) with this example estimated at £300-500 in Hampstead
Auctions' sale in London on November 15.
