LAPADA, the Association of Art and Antique Dealers, have announced that their annual conference will focus on the internet in 2013.
How to harness the power of the
internet will take place on February 11 at the House of
Lords and will address digital marketing techniques, boosting sales
and profitability, as well as understanding the online consumer.
There will also be a talk on honing negotiation skills with
customers.
LAPADA chairman Lord Chadlington will host
the conference, which will include an exclusive tour for members,
starting at 8.40am, before the programme begins and, after taking
in advice and essential tips from the six specialist speakers, the
conference will wind up with an open forum discussion allowing
delegates to raise questions relating to any aspect of current
business or industry issues.
Lunch will take place on the Terrace
overlooking the Thames and the day closes at 5pm with afternoon
tea.
As well as ATG, sponsors include 1stdibs,
Besso Ltd and Cadogan Tate.
LAPADA members are urged to book early, as there are only 20
places left. The delegate rate for members is £65, and you
can book your place by emailing kLeVan@lapada.org or call the
office on 020 7823 3511.
