A £5000 reward has been offered for the return of the stock of Somerset jewellers Joseph Leonard, which was stolen in a raid on March 28.
The stock consists mainly of Victorian and Edwardian pieces and
includes the rare silver snuffbox, right, with a specially
commissioned golf clubhouse lid by Garrard & Co, as well as an
18ct gold ring with two cut diamonds and further mine-cut diamonds
to the twist.
The company have since announced they will be changing their
name to Joseph Leonard Antiques and will now trade mainly in
antique silver.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Avon and Somerset
Police at the Bridgewater division on 0845 4567000 and quoting
crime number 36166/11.
