SOUTH Wales auctioneers Peter Francis anticipate moving to their new Carmarthen saleroom in the spring.
With work on Towyside, the former Post Office sorting office in
Old Station Road, now progressing well - and 200 nesting pigeons
now removed from the property at great expense - proprietor Nigel
Hodson expects to wield the gavel at the site in April.
The May 19 fine art and antiques sale will be the first
catalogued auction at the new address.
Peter Francis currently hold sales from two sites in Carmarthen:
general sales and storage at the Pensarn saleroom and fine art
sales from the King Street saleroom.
The new site, which also offers much more in the way of car
parking opportunities, will allow operations to be conducted under
one roof, with two auctions every month. Individual self-contained
offices will be available to rent on the first floor in a variety
of sizes and to specifications tailored to each tenant.
