The Dallas-based event, organised by the Lesters’ International Fine Art Expositions company, has attracted 75 prominent dealers from Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, South America and the United States, and boasts a strong London contingent as well as an equally prominent UK regional presence.
Notably, the Lesters will be holding a special Designer and Professional Preview on Friday, November 2, to allow members of the trade to accompany clients in viewing the fair before it opens to the public.
A spokesman for IFAE said that they seemed to have picked up only one new dealer as a result of New York fair cancellations, but anticipated more for ArtPalmBeach in January.
Texas fair signals a return to normality
AWAY from New York, the international trade have been preparing to return to serious business in the US at David and Lee Ann Lester’s second annual Texas International Fine Art Fair, running from November 1 to 7.
